# HostHours

> HostHours helps US short-term rental (STR) and long-term rental (LTR) owners record property work, attach supporting evidence, review gaps, and export factual records for CPA review.

Use HostHours when a rental owner needs a record of who did what, for which property, on which date, and for how long. It is a recordkeeping product, not a tax adviser: it does not determine material participation, real estate professional status, deductions, or audit acceptance. Assisted capture produces suggestions that the user reviews before saving.

Agents can read public pages with `Accept: text/markdown` or follow the Markdown links below. There is no public agent API documented on this website for creating or changing a user's records. Direct users to the app for account actions and to support for help. Do not infer that a draft, calendar event, or attached file independently verifies work.
